For many people, the lack of pain or other symptoms equals health. That is not necessarily the case though. The World Health Organization defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Many times, the conditions we are dealing with have been developing for several months or even years before we start to notice any symptoms at all. Take heart disease for example. The first symptom for many is unfortunately a heart attack, which may end up being their last as well. Obviously the plaque and blockage required for that to happen does not occur over night, it takes time. This is why we cannot rely strictly on symptoms to determine whether we are healthy or not and need to take a proactive, rather than reactive approach to HEALTH. In the next several weeks we will be discussing 7 secrets to health and better healing that everyone needs to know. Stay tuned!!
